Hello, hello. Another week flies by. This week I spent a good proportion in London with work and seeing a friend I’ve been meaning to catch up with for ages. Love you Anna!
I was also down for my brother’s 30th birthday, which involved lots of good food at Roka on Charlotte Street. Then back up for another friend’s birthday…what a fab few days. Smiled so much my cheeks ached.
After a busy week, I was glad to have no plans this weekend. No plans?! Yes, for the first weekend this year, no plans. Very intentional and much needed. That’s not to say I didn’t have a big ‘to do’ list though (I’m currently looking at it…think I managed to do a third of it!)
I did get chance to post a few blog posts this week. You can read more ramblings from me about my house being filled with daffodils. Hello spring. Although, it has got cold again…dammit, I spoke too soon. I also posted my first styling challenge from Frock Swap 2015 – Char’s H&M floral dress.
Lots more posts still to come, I went to Veeno (Italian Wine Café in Leeds) with the husband during the week and that review will be up soon.
My spending ban hurt a little this week, just a few weeks to go till the end of the 100 days. My mate Anna asked me to meet her around Bond Street/Oxford Street. Ouch, just ouch. I would say that my purse feels better for it, but haven’t gone on holiday a few times already this year, it bloody doesn’t.
What else have I been up to? Hmmm…. on Twitter, I was mostly scoffing at ‘bants’…what the actual…?

I was sad that the tee in this month’s My Little Box featured R.Kelly lyrics, therefore rendering it completely unwearable. They meant well obvs, shame they didn’t realise. I still balk at big stars like Lady Gaga doing partnerships with him.
The tee that comes in this month’s My Little Box unfortunately has R.Kelly lyrics on it #facepalm #shame pic.twitter.com/8LFwiA9GJ4 — Ally // Digital Diva (@AllyDigitalDiva) March 13, 2015
I’m going to spend the rest of this Sunday, browsing The Independent on Sunday (good article from Susie Bubble on page 3 about selfies actually starting in the 16th Century – thanks for the tip @CheeryLilThing)
…all whilst thinking that I should be getting on with my ‘to do’ list. Ah well.
Have a lovely Sunday evening everyone and a fab week ahead x
I loved this post so much, I feel like I just got a little in to your life. I hope your quiet weekend has been a bit more relaxing. We are the same, we just NEVER stop & it’s been nice to not have any major plans this weekend either. Have a wonderful week toots ❤️
