Spring is finally here…the cherry blossoms are out and the sun has been shining rather a lot. Wonderful!

The cherry blossom tree in my garden looks gorgeous for a few weeks of year…then looks like a scraggy angry one for the rest of it.
I don’t have a whole lot to say this week if I’m honest! Feeling a bit sleepy. We’ve had a fab time at Hollins Hall for a spa break (more on that soon) and had a delicious Sunday roast at Crafthouse in Leeds for a friend’s birthday. £10 for free-flowing prosecco…dangerous! It’s a wonder I can type right now…
Feels like I’ve eaten out rather a lot this week (even more than usual). It’s all good when it includes Pinche Pinche in Chapel Allerton though. It’s totally my happy place…such good food and organic wine. I really should blog about them properly, I’ve been going for nearly 15 years (back when it was Salsa Mexicana) and so I tend to not think about taking pics of my food properly (rare for me!)…I just dive in! I’ll feature it soon and do a proper write up. In the mean time, if you haven’t been already, remedy that RIGHT NOW!
Elsewhere on the ol’ blog I posted my top 3 travel bucket list destinations and a few pics of our gorgeous silver retro telephone. Check ’em out, check ’em out.
Links I’ve been loving this week
Time-lapse of the eruption of Chile’s Calbuco volcano. Beautiful, but deadly.
Emma has started doing her own 100 days spending ban – wish her luck! (catch up on how I got on with mine here)
I’m totally in love with Megs’ hair in this blog post.
Cheery Little Thing posted a good looking recipe for quick coriander and chilli prawn courgetti. Loving courgetti at the moment.
That’s it from me…short and sweet this week! Have a fab one you gorgeous people! xx
Thanks for mentioning my quick coriander and prawn courgetti 🙂 Let me know if you try it for yourself
