Gorgeous George

George at Asda has always been a leader for very affordable fashion, they constantly put out a number of items that really hit the mark. As with any supermarket fashion brand, you do have to have a good look to find those truly gold star pieces, but when you find them…for very little money…it’s a great feeling!

Their current range has some definite stand out items for me – their dresses are preeeeetty damn good right now! I paired this neon yellow tunic dress with a pair of trainers and a cardi to go see Chic & Nile Rodgers at the O2 Academy. I knew I’d be on my feet a lot that night and I needed comfort, but also something that would stand out.

I felt really comfy all night, loved that outfit!

I also was quite taken by this dress (sorry about the photo quality, baaaad light that day):

I love the sleeve length and the shape overall. Great print too! You can wear it fairly smart, as I’ve done here…with black tights and black suede heels, or you can dress it down with ankle boots or biker boots.

There were plenty of others that I had my eye on, here’s a few of them on Pinterest:

…but it’s not just their dresses that are grabbing my attention at the moment. I also fell in love with a pair of their scuba leggings:

So, what do you think?

Disclaimer: Please note that these items were gifted to me for review purposes, it was very kind of them…but didn’t affect my opinions. I’m a big George at Asda fan.

Hi honey! I’m just catching up on my (very behind!) blog reading… I love these outfits on you! Especially that monochrome dress, it’s perfect and looks much, much more high end.

Asda are absolutely bowling me over this year with their fashion lines – it’s a shame the plus size collection is tiny (ironically!). Luckily the dresses in the ‘normal’ range fit me, so I think I’m gonna treat myself to a few. Sad, but I love the lemon print things at the moment!!

Hope you’re having a fab Easter!

    Faith xx
