November was a funny month, wasn’t it? Sometimes fairly warm…sometimes freezing cold. It can be hard to dress for those days. Layers is often the name of the game…as you go from hot (usually shops or houses) to cold (often outside) within minutes.
Here are a few of the outfits I was to be found in, in November. I thought I’d actually posted more on my Instagram…but seems not! Bad fashion blogger! You’ll find my usual mix of high street and high end brands…
I kept pretty warm in Budapest in that dark blue tailored wool jacket from Zadig & Voltaire (similar here) It’s a great versatile jacket which it nice and toasty, but still looks stylish thanks to the cut and those gorgeous studs on the shoulders. I mostly stayed in jumper dresses in Budapest…I love the Alexander McQueen graffiti style (similar) number I’m wearing here. Really comfy and forgiving, but edgy. The hat was bought in Iceland btw.
Another fave dress from November was the Zoe Karssen marble effect mini dress (similar). Love teaming that with shoes or boots and thick black tights. Add in my Burberry duffle coat (similar) and we’re good to go!
My addiction to the Zadig & Voltaire brand continues. I don’t think I bought anything new from the brand last month, but I certainly wore it a lot! I wore a simple black tshirt dress from New Look (old) for my friend’s birthday and paired it with that blue scarf from Zadig (similar) above to jazz it up a bit. Add in some bring pink lippie…and of course, a mini-baguette studded bag from Zadig & Voltaire (buy here) and it was the perfect outfit for me that night.
My pink ‘raven’ beaded sweater from H&M (last season) makes a return for winter. It’s heavy, but I do love it. The fit is really slouchy, perfect for cold days where you feel like hiding under layers.
This brown suede biker jacket from Zara (similar here) has been rocking my world in the past month…teamed with a roll-neck jumper from Uniqlo (buy here), jeans (Edgemonts) from Paige Denim (buy here) and over-the-knee-boots from Kurt Geiger (old)….and it’s an outfit that I really love. There’s a LOT of zips in this outfit 😀
The Jaeger camel tailored jacket (similar here) is getting a lot of wear at the moment. I love the way it makes any outfit look chic and also love that it goes well with my Dior Saddle bag (buy pre-loved here). It can be hard to pair that bag to outfits at times, so it used to sit in my dressing room looking a little lonely. Now, it’s got the perfect coat to be worn with, it’s playing out a lot more.
I also had to be smart-smart….you know, a bit smarter than usual….but not too smart…on the odd occasion. I found that the jacket I got from LK Bennett (from McArthur Glen in this post – similar here) works so well for sticking over black jeans and a black tee. Casual, yet smart.
I’m going to try to remember to post these outfit lookbacks at the previous month more often. I know I’m pretty sporadic! Now that I’ve figured out a good place to take photos for Instagram, it’s a little easier. Till next time! x
