Parties, Burgers and Bankies

Happy bank holiday weekend to you all! What have you been up to? We’ve been celebrating our niece’s 18th Birthday in London, seeing my friend Sarah (you rock Sarah!… she knows why) and having a bit of a relax.

Earlier in the week I went to a Leeds Food Festival party…lush burgers from Almost Famous and cocktails at Epernay. It was lovely to spend some time with fellow bloggers (and work mates!) Becca, Harry and Jen.

Almost Famous Burgers

Harry covered the event on his blog. I found it to be a bit of an odd event if I’m totally honest, as not a lot happened…there were some leaflets with a calendar for the food festival…which was handy, as I’d been finding the number of food festivals going on in Leeds a bit confusing. It’s amazing that we’ve got such a lively food scene in Leeds, I’m proud to live in this city and everyone looked like they have worked incredibly hard on their festivals and events…but as a consumer / blogger, I’ve found it a bit hard to understand how everything related together.

What else did I get up to?… I did an outfit post featuring a few of my current faves: handbag by Zadig & Voltaire, studded heels by Zara and a fab silver cuff (and I mean a PROPER cuff) by The Haute Pursuit.

I also posted about a recent trip to Italy, along with a few other Italian related links for Wanderlust Wednesday. Love love love that country!

Links I’ve been loving…

Dinner at the Manor posted about Pintura, the Basque style Tapas Bar in Leeds. It looks fab…I’ll def. be paying it a visit soon.

These gorgeous eyelashes were posted by Jade at The Style Raw. I bought them immediately…can’t wait to wear them!

Printable wall art is becoming a real ‘thing’ now. Victoria at Apartment No. 4 posted these ones for under £10. Bargain.

…and last but not least, Becca. I nearly choked when I read her post on her fave healthy eating recipes at the moment. Why? BECAUSE SHE KEEPS TRYING TO FEED ME DOUGHNUTS?!

Have a lovely week y’all x

I would have loved to go to Leeds Food Fest, purely because I’m a fat pig and free food/drink. So ya know 😉
Will be looking at your suggested posts because I really need some healthy treats now I’ve jumped on the ”overnight oat” bandwagon!
