Information is Beautiful
If you don’t think that already, you will after watching this TED talk.
David McCandless is a data journalist (I love that job title!). He turns complex data sets (like worldwide military spending, media buzz, Facebook status updates) into beautiful, simple diagrams that tease out unseen patterns and connections. Good design, he suggests, is the best way to navigate information glut — and it may just change the way we see the world.
Put some headphones on and take 18mins out of your busy day to watch and listen to this video.
