Social Media Conversion Funnel

Unbounce featured an article on their blog today (and flowtown also featured it), titled “The 7 Secrets to Social Media Conversion.”

There aren’t many examples yet of people doing Social Media for Conversion really well. Lots of companies are just getting started in Social Media, starting a Facebook page and not really knowing why. 

It’s so important to understand what your ‘conversion’ is with any marketing channel, and that definitely includes social media. Are you trying to get a sale? An email signup? Are you trying to uplift your brand metrics (e.g. brand awareness, purchase intent)?

All your activity should be driving to that end point and you need to have the tools in place to measure the metrics.
