We went to our second supper club event by Dinner at the Manor which this time focussed on Rick Stein’s India as the theme. We had a wonderful evening….the food was absolutely delicious and the company was great!
Dan and Susie started us off with Indian Sunset cocktails which were very tasty. We then had some canapes which included Egg Malee, Pau Bhai Bites and Amritsari Fish Fritters. Starters included Beef Kati Rolls with pickled onions and green chilli salad. They were absolutely delicious and very filling!
Mains consisted of Pondicherry Fish Curry, Chettinad Chicken, Keralan Pork Curry with green chillies and tamarind and Butternut Squash in sweet tamarind masala….all served with Kachumber Salad and rice. Just when we thought we were all stuffed, we had Masala Chai with pistachios and pomegranate. Oh wow…..such an amazing dessert!
Dinner at the Manor is such a great supper club, I’d encourage anyone to try it…Dan and Susie are accomplished chefs and it’s always a pleasure to eat whatever they cook.
