I only intended to do one look to be honest, but I spotted this jumper in Armani Exchange and it had to be mine. I knew it would go perfectly with the Brooks Brothers white shirt that I picked for the white shirt challenge and I could create a really simple classic look. You can’t go far wrong pairing some jeans with a slouchy jumper over a white shirt.
The jumper has lovely long oversized sleeves, perfect for crisp Autumnal days (that sounded pretty clichéd, it’s bloody true though!). I can see this jumper getting a lot of wear this season and in winter. I added the white Brooks Brother shirt and a pair of Paige Denim Hoxton Skinny Ankle jeans (I live in Paige Denim, it’s a fact).
Last, but certainly not least, I chose some black block heeled shoes from Kurt Geiger at McArthur Glen. They were a real bargain and I couldn’t resist them. I love the comfy heel and the ankle ties.
Love those long slouchy sleeves!
OK, so the heels started off being super comfy, but once I’d worn them for a few hours they gave me hell. Rubbed on the top of my toes and the back of the heels. I wasn’t expecting them to kick my ass that much…I’m going to have to wear these gits in. I do love the look of them though.
Love how the white shirt collar stays nice and upright under the jumper.
I really loved doing the white shirt challenge with McArthur Glen. I now own the perfect white shirt for me and I’m pretty damn pleased with the other items I styled with it!
Thanks to Matt McCormick for the outfit photos.
* Please note that we were given the white shirts for free for the challenge, along with a gift card to spend at McArthur Glen to style the items. My opinions are, as always, my own…especially because I actually chose the items!
