Weekend in the Lakes, fringes & lip syncing to Taylor Swift

Hey all. Hope you had a good week last week? I started it off with meetings in London, giving me some time away from the husband to watch the last series of House (I watched the other seasons before I met him and he hasn’t seen them, so there’s no point trying to catch him up!)

I mostly wore trainers last week, it was a busy one and I needed a bit of comfort to be honest! I find I go through phases with what I wear. Here’s me in neon and snakeskin print trainers from Debenhams (I know! Right??), black jeans from H&M, a black jumper from Armani Exchange and a blue faux snakeskin tote from New Look.

I bloody love this tee from H&M…I’m those jeans from H&M again and the wedge trainers with gold studs on are Sketchers.

I popped in to see Abi at Architect Hair in Headingley for a fringe trim. Regular readers will know that my hairdresser is Anthony Fellows in Huddersfield, but it can be a bit tricky going to Huddersfield everytime I need a fringe trim (which is often, my hair grows so fast!)…so Abi is the lovely lady looking after my beloved fringe. She cuts it just how I like it.

I’d really recommend both Abi and Claire at Architect hair…Claire is a whizz with hair chalk!

At the weekend, I was mostly to be found in the Lake District with the husband and two of my best friends. We stayed at a lovely cottage with amazing views, a hot tub and a log burning fire. We bezzed around the Lakes for a few days having fun, eating good food and catching up. Heaven.

Here’s the fab view from the hot tub:

The weather created some stunning scenes at Ullswater…

…and I’m still a bit obsessed with doing hyperlapse videos on Instagram  😉

My friend Jenni spent her Sunday lip-syncing to Taylor Swift. What did you get up to?
