X Factor, Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet & Silver Skechers

Morning! Wow….it’s feeling Autumnal today, isn’t it? Brrrrrr………..    Did you watch X Factor this weekend? I’ve got Lauren Platt and Only The Young in the office sweepstake. I did also have Blonde Electra, but they went out last night. It was a shame, because I liked their kookiness, I can really see them as a band…but I guess they were a bit too bonkers for the general public. Why did I have three? Well, I kept paying my £1 for a choice till I was hoping I’d get Andrea! I didn’t. Dammit….he absolutely killed Earth Song (even if one of my eyebrows did raise at the questionable song choice).

Winter Minestrone Soup

The cold snaps are becoming more frequent…time for comforting food….lots of soups. My friend Thea is a fantastic cook and an expert at soup. Try out her recipe for Winter Minestrone Soup if you get chance.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Matt Lipstick

I spotted this on a few blogs with good reviews and you might have seen that I bought it in my Superdrug haul. I tried it out for my husband’s party for his new premises and I really liked it. I was in a rush and didn’t use lip liner, which meant it did bleed a little later in the evening, but I liked the feel and look.

Green Smoothies

After my cold last week, I thought I’d try to get some vitamins into me. Out came the Nutribullet again! I love the Nutribullet, it makes these so easy.

Silver Skechers

Speaking of the cold, my trainers and boots are continuing to come out now. I love these silver skechers paired with a grey cashmere cardi from Crumpet and a scarf by Vince Camuto.

One of my favourite jumpers from last year has also come back out for this season. It’s from Oliver Bonas and I love the big bow. Flouncy.

Tartan-sleeved Biker Jacket

On Friday, I was feeling a bit more rock and wore my ‘Blog Off’ tee from Lustre with blue skinnies and a tartan-sleeved biker jacket from Primark.

Hope you all have a good week, as you can see I took it a bit easier than previous weeks. Really trying to cut down on activities and spend some quality relaxing time! I did spend all weekend doing up a house…but it had to be done….this week I’ll try to relax.
